Artist and Creative producer
Dan’s work has taken him all over the world. He has worked in South Korea twice and more recently made a sculpture for the world’s tallest hotel in Dubai. Within the next year Dan, 31, plans to travel to Almazan in Spain to make a marble sculpture for the town before heading to Hue, the cultural capital of Vietnam to create another granite work.
Dan, who lives in Doncaster, has been working collaboratively with Creative Partnerships BDR as an artist in schools and said: “I focus on the redesign of spaces and this is done in partnership with the entire school, all working together in the initial ideas, design, building and finally installing the work.”
Dan’s presence at Bramley Grange Primary in Rotherham has been invaluable; with the ladybird shaped literacy space that he has helped to create not only improving learning, but motivating disengaged pupils.
This year Dan has exhibited work at the newly opened Cusworth Hall Museum and is currently creating a solo exhibition for the launch of the new Gallery at the Point, Doncaster.
