Poet and Comedian

Craig Bradley has been described as a “brilliant wordsmith and performer”, making him a perfect new recruit to the CP BDR creative agents team.

Craig recently used his love of words and infectious enthusiasm to wow an audience of Head teachers and CP Co-ordinators during the two BDR induction days for Enquiry Schools - and this hilarious poet’s past has been colourful to say the least!

Amongst other things, Craig has worked as a stand up comedian, a roadie, a heavy metal drummer, a Butlins breakfast cook and a gravedigger.

These days Craig Bradley concentrates on being a professional poet, writer and performer who tours the country sharing his passion for words. He performs in schools, libraries, museums, art galleries, hospitals and literary festivals.

Craig has written six books and published poetry, fiction, non-fiction and children’s poetry. He has held many writing residencies in libraries, schools, prisons, youth offending teams, hospitals and literary festivals.

Craig is mad about Halifax town FC, has read his poetry on live radio and holds no less than two University degrees, meaning Craig is one multi-talented man!

This talented performer’s newest book is the hilarious 53 Things to do with a Leek which is a collection of poetry for children.

CP Director for BDR, Brigidin Crowther was amongst the audience at the Enquiry Schools induction days and said, "We chose Craig because he makes language fizz and come alive and reminds us all how to be playful with creativity.”
