b.TWEEN is a cutting-edge cross-platform digital convergence festival and industry opportunity where media moguls meet to share creativity.
Founded by South Yorkshire entrepreneur Katz Kiely, b.TWEEN 08 is about being inspired and learning from peers - and nowhere else could you find a more diverse gathering of influential pioneers.
This year, the festival will take place on 18-20 June at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester and Creative Partnerships BDR will be there to join in with the fun!
The b.TWEEN Cross Platform National Development Lab and Interactive Forum will offer a mentoring opportunity for students from schools in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
Students will work with a professional film crew and photographer and will interview industry delegates, creating short vox pops and film pieces which will be uploaded during the festival. They will be using the content and experience as part of their Creative and Media Assignments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for South Yorkshire’s young people to connect with top talent from the creative industries. b.TWEEN founder Katz Kiely said,
“We are delighted to welcome young people from South Yorkshire as guests at this industry level festival. b.TWEEN is about the cutting edge of new media and we need the voices of young people to contribute to the debate.”
